PowerArchiver is a powerful archive software that allows easily to create archives and decompress them for many formats.

PowerArchiver is a powerful archive utility that can compress and decompress a large number of formats: 7z, ZIP, CAB, LHA (LZH), TAR, TAR.GZ, TAR.BZ2, BH, RAR, ARJ, ARC, ACE, ZOO, GZ and BZIP2. It protects archives with passwords and it can also be verified by an antivirus. It also manages XXE and UUE encoded files and can also create self-extracting ZIP files, RAR, ACE, ARJ, LHA and BH.

An interesting feature is that it allows to decompress multiple files simultaneously.

PowerArchiver also adds extensions to Windows Explorer to extract an archive in the current directory as the name of the subdirectory of the archive (for example C: softwarearchive.zip becomes c: softwarearchive).

* Implemented PAE2 format (Encryption Suite)- Created new encryption format with AES 256 support, as well as many other features. Much faster than PAE. PAE2 can be set to FIPS 140-2 mode where it can be used in all government offices.
* Clone mode (Backup) Implemented new Clone mode into PowerArchiver Backup, where users can simply clone their files and folders in their original state, without any format or compression (1:1 copy of files).
* Support for new AttachmentCloud (Cloud)- support for new AttachmentCloud service, beta coming soon.
* Implemented FTP+TLS in explicit mode (FTP) Implemented support for FTP + TLS in explicit mode to expand our TLS support. SSL support completely taken out due to POODLE security issues found in SSL protocol that makes it not secure.
* Skin engine and interface Fully implemented new skin engine into all of PowerArchiver apps, as well as new interface that makes it easier to use on variety of Windows systems.
