Macrium Reflect helps users, even the inexperienced ones, to protect their computer from a possible crash by backing up their system in a very easy manner.

Macrium Reflect is a program that backs up the system, in a easy manner.

It creates images (Ghost) or disk images of the system, copies, compress and records the entire PC on a partition, or on a storage medium, for a recovery from a crash.

It is possible to provide backup and recovery with simple clicks. More advanced users will benefit from export opportunities in xml format and management of Visual Basic scripts.

Modules with password protection and restoration are also included. The application supports most storage devices (CD, DVD, USB flash drive, removable hard drive) as well as NTFS, FAT and ext2 systems. Automatically regular backups can be scheduled using the planning function.

* Restore view loading speed increase
- The time to populate the Restore view with image and backup files has been reduced.

* Linux CD incorrect image information displayed
- On the initial page of the Linux restore wizard, Incremental and Differential image files were labelled as Full images. This has been resolved.
* Image mounting problem from a password protected network share
- When using Windows Explorer context menu to mount an image, if the share was password protected the the mount could fail. This has been resolved
* Improved Installer reliability
- Macrium Reflect installation could fail and rollback if the installation of the Reflect service failed due to Anti-Virus software blocking the installation. This has been resolved.
* Problem with File and Folder backup due to Russian locale
- When using Russian Windows, Files greater than 4GB in size would not combine to a single file in the restore process. This has been resolved.
