Eraser 6.0.8.2273

Eraser - (Open Source)

Eraser is a solution to keep your sensitive data away from the curious eyes by destructing it definitively.

Eraser is a modern security tool which uses the Guttmann proven algorithm to ensure the final deletion of a file. It is used to completely remove sensitive information from the hard drive by overwriting it several times with carefully selected patterns.

The interface allows you to delete a timely drive, file or folder or to delete the program at regular intervals. It is even possible to add a link in the context menu of Windows Explorer in order to delete a file without accessing the software.

This software makes possible to delete files without there any way to recover, even partially, the data. The principle that is used to clear outright media data, not reference tables only. It must be very careful to remove the files because they are unrecoverable once deleted.

Eraser is fully programmable to perform tasks at a specific time by just pecifying files or folders to be deleted.
