AVG Anti-Spyware is a very useful tool developed for computer protection against spyware.

As its name suggests, AVG Anti-Spyware is a free software which has the task to protect the computer from spyware.

The interface is easy to use and offers a toolbar that allows navigation through the various features of the software: system status, updates, analysis with the possibility of programming, resident shield or quarantine, which are easily accessible.

AVG Anti-Spyware also can enable or disable certain components of Internet Explorer suc as: ActiveX, maximum number of HTTP connections, Windows Media Player (automatic licensing, Windows Scripting Host ... ) , as well as services like time synchronization or UPnP .

The software includes XP Antispy, BHO and LSP Viewer. After scanning the computer (including inside the archives), AVG Anti-Spyware cleans of the Windows registry.
