Silverlight is a cross-platform plugin compatible with all major browsers like Internet Explorer and Firefox, which allows viewing interactive animations but also audio and video on specialized sites such as mySpace, DailyMotion community etc. It is Microsoft's answer to Adobe Flash technology.
Silverlight integrates animations and numerous geometrical forms such as ellipses, squares or other forms, having a small library with several interesting features. This software also allows playback of MP3 streams, WMA Standard.
For developers, this application is based on .Net Framework technology and has integration of graphics tools and effects for the web pages. It adapts to existing infrastructure such as Apache, PHP, Javascript and XHTML and supports many programming languages (C #, Python, Visual Basic, etc.). It now includes a 3D engine enriched with advanced features, the management of H.264 video, video streaming in HD format via IIS management capacity management and 3D video graphics card, enrichment effects animation and transition images and text, etc.
